On May 6th, we installed the new Whistler Canyon Trailhead sign. This marks the point where the new Pacific NW Scenic Trail intersects US-97 and is the only direct access to USFS land on US-97 in Okanogan County. |
We had many work projects at the lower portion of Whistler Canyon. We converted an old driveway/boot built trail to extend the Pacific NW National Scenic Trail to a new trailhead to be built on US 97 this summer. |
Dave Swanberg routed the signs and then we sanded, painted the colored trail routes, and then varnished them. |
